As a professional artist with over 20 years working with image transfer techniques, I will guide you on an exciting journey into a world of new materials that will add unique visual interest to your artwork and help enhance and amplify your unique creative voice.
In this small group environment, you’ll see demonstrations of techniques, receive individualized direction, and have time to explore creating and working in layers of interesting materials.
You’ll learn a variety of (mostly non-toxic) collage and image transfer techniques to create base layers for drawings or paintings (oil or acrylic). We’ll take out the guesswork so you can get deeply into using these materials and techniques to reach new creative heights.
We’ll also be experimenting with a number of different approaches to the creative process.
The process is often delightfully unpredictable, so bring your sense of adventure!
